  • Assessing the current status of the BCM process in an organization and identifying steps to improve it
  • Designing a BCM process from an organizational perspective
  • Distinguishing between tasks, responsibilities, and policies
  • The BCM policy and how it is outlined in a policy document.
     

Module 2: Identifying Threats and Vulnerabilities

  • The consequences if a product or service is not delivered as agreed
  • Determining the maximum allowable downtime for processes
  • How to implement preventive measures and when to apply them
     

Module 3: Developing and Implementing a Business Continuity Plan

  • The various components of a plan
  • The costs and benefits associated with each plan
  • Responsibility allocation for each plan within the organization
  • The structure of a plan
  • Organizational resilience and recovery from threats that impact the organization
     

Requirements

Candidates should have a basic understanding of business continuity.
