Session 3: Phase 2 - Product Design and Development

  • Design verification and validation procedures
  • Applying Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles
  • Conducting design reviews and managing engineering changes

Session 4: Phase 3 - Process Design and Development

  • Creating process flowcharts and process control plans
  • Utilizing Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and statistical tools
  • Employing advanced quality planning tools (e.g., Control Plan, Process FMEA)

Session 5: Phase 4 - Product and Process Validation

  • Conducting prototype builds and testing
  • Understanding Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements
  • Executing production trial runs and validating measurement systems

Session 6: Phase 5 - Feedback, Assessment, and Corrective Action
