- Declarative Resource Management
Deploy and update applications using parameterized resource manifests tailored for different target environments.
- Deploy Packaged Applications
Deploy and update applications using resource manifests packaged for sharing and distribution.
- Authentication and Authorization
Configure authentication using the HTPasswd identity provider and assign roles to users and groups.
- Network Security
Protect network traffic between applications inside and outside the cluster.
- Expose non-HTTP/SNI Applications
Expose applications to external access without relying on an Ingress controller.
- Enable Developer Self-Service
Configure clusters to allow safe self-service by developers from multiple teams, or restrict self-service if projects must be provisioned by operations staff.
- Manage Kubernetes Operators
Install and update Operators managed by the Operator Lifecycle Manager and the Cluster Version Operator.
- Application Security
Run applications that require elevated or special privileges from the host Operating System or Kubernetes.
- OpenShift Updates
Update an OpenShift cluster while minimizing disruption to deployed applications.
Requirements
- Red Hat OpenShift Administration I: Operating a Production Cluster (DO180v4.14), or equivalent experience deploying and managing Kubernetes applications using the OpenShift web console and command-line interfaces.
- Extensive Linux System Administration experience is not required. Basic skills in operating a Bash shell, manipulating files and processes, and verifying system configurations such as network addresses are necessary and sufficient.
