Module 1: Foundations of the Leader Role

Objective: Building a leader identity and strengthening the sense of one's role.

  • Introductory Workshop: Challenges and new responsibilities in the leader role.
  • Working with Values: What values do I want to represent as a leader?
  • Basics of Competency Models: Introduction to competency models as tools for leader and team development.
  • Elements of Psychological Games: Identifying and avoiding psychological traps in team relationships.
  • Preparing the Leader's Exposé: How to effectively present your vision, goals, and values to the team.

Developmental Outcomes:

  • Participants will identify their key values as leaders.
  • They will prepare a preliminary version of their leader's exposé.
  • They will gain awareness of the challenges associated with the leader role.

Team Communication

Objective: Enhancing the leader's communication skills.

  • Lecture: Leader communication models and styles.
  • Practical Exercise: Active listening in difficult conversations.
  • Simulation: Conducting a team meeting – conveying information clearly.
  • Feedback: How to respond to employee questions and doubts.

Module 2: Difficult Conversations and Negative Feedback

Objective: Developing frameworks for conducting challenging conversations.

  • Practical Exercise: Role-playing difficult scenarios (e.g., missed deadlines, team conflicts).
  • Case Study: Analyzing problem situations from participants' daily work.
  • Individual Work: Creating conversation plans based on real-life challenges.
  • Elements of Manager 3.0: A modern approach to management – how to engage the team in decision-making processes and build a culture of shared responsibility.
  • Strategic Thinking: Tools and methods supporting strategic decision-making (e.g., SWOT analysis, Eisenhower matrix, the 5 Whys method).
  • Coaching and Mentoring Methods: Introduction to TOP (Theory of Practice) and TOC (Theory of Constraints) in goal setting, supporting individual and team development.

Delegating and Receiving Tasks

Objective: Learning to delegate effectively and receive task outcomes from the team.

  • Feedback: Receiving team work – recognizing achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Simulation: A session on delegating a task and reviewing outcomes.

  • Presentation of the Leader's Exposé: Presenting your vision, strategy, and team development plan, summarizing activities undertaken during the training.
  • Closing Task: Preparing an inspiring message for the team.
