The "PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor" examination satisfies the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). The assessment covers the following competency areas:

Certification
PECB ISO/IEC 42001 Certification Path and Requirements
Following a successful exam result, you may apply for one of four professional credentials based on your experience level. All credentials necessitate passing the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor Exam (or an approved equivalent) and agreeing to the PECB Code of Ethics.
1. Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Provisional Auditor
This credential is suitable for individuals new to the field who have acquired theoretical knowledge but lack practical auditing or industry experience.

2. Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Auditor
This credential is intended for professionals possessing a foundational level of experience in artificial intelligence management and auditing.

3. Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor
This is the standard credential for seasoned professionals qualified to plan, lead, and manage audit teams for AI management systems.

4. Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Senior Lead Auditor
The highest credential level, aimed at expert practitioners with extensive, long-term leadership experience in auditing AI frameworks.

Note on Eligible Audit Activities: To be recognized by PECB, your audit hours must adhere to best practices and include activities such as audit planning, managing audit programs, drafting audit or nonconformity reports, conducting on-site audits, and leading audit teams.
General
- The cost of certification and examination is included in the training course fee.
- Participants will receive comprehensive training materials containing over 450 pages of explanatory content, case studies, best practices, exercises, and quizzes.
- Those who attend the training course will be issued an attestation of completion, valued at 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits.
- Should candidates fail the examination, they are eligible to retake it free of charge within 12 months of their initial attempt.
