Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) - Scrum.org Accredited Training Course

Applying Professional Scrum (APS) is a 2-day course that teaches Scrum in a highly practical way. Students hit the ground running through instruction and team-based exercises.

Working in a series of Sprints, teams of students build a software application, thereby facing real-life problems. The mechanics, roles, principles and (empirical) process of Scrum are demonstrated. Common missteps and misunderstandings are discussed so students grow a higher awareness of their symptoms.

Applying Professional Scrum (APS) is the training for teams and anyone wanting to experience the Scrum way of working. The course also provides the foundation of knowledge needed for role-focused training for Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Developers, as offered in Scrum.org’s Professional Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Product Owner and Professional Scrum Development classes.

The class introduces the mechanics of Scrum, as well as provides insights into complexity, team-based collaboration and self-organization as essential elements in mastering Scrum. Students will experience how the Scrum framework improves product development efforts.

From its emphasis on practical application the course exposes common missteps, increases the awareness of the associated symptoms, and provides prescriptive guidance to avoid going off track.

Students are challenged to act in terms of Scrum. They take home an increased understanding of how to collaborate better and work as a team.

Professional Scrum Certification

All participants completing the Applying Professional Scrum course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment. The industry-recognized PSM I certification requires a minimum passing score of 85%. APS class participants who attempt the PSM I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.

You are also entitled to a discount on the PSM II assessment once passing PSM I.

The Professional Agile Leadership Essentials (PAL-E) is a two-day workshop designed to empower leaders and managers of Agile teams, as well as their Product Owners and Scrum Masters. The course equips participants with the skills needed to drive organizational change by providing:

• A comprehensive overview of Agile principles and the critical importance of adopting Agile methodologies to help organizations thrive in a dynamic world.
• Insights into identifying the opportunities, challenges, and business impacts of Agile adoption, emphasizing its relevance for the next generation of organizations.

• Methods for scaling agility across multiple teams within an organization while ensuring they collaborate effectively to achieve a shared vision.

Professional Agile Leadership Certification

Upon completing the Professional Agile Leadership - Essentials course, all participants will receive a unique password to attempt the Professional Agile Leadership I (PAL I) certification assessment. Participants who take the PAL I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and score less than 85% will be granted a second attempt at no additional cost.

In this course in Uzbekistan, students will learn how Scrum Teams can integrate additional Kanban practices to enhance their work while continuing to adhere to Scrum guidelines, without altering the core framework.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

As a Developer, you work collaboratively with the Scrum team to deliver business value, contributing to the preparation and monitoring of the Sprint Backlog (the Sprint plan) and ensuring quality outcomes.

The course is designed for individuals interested in implementing Agile approaches within their organization, those actively participating in projects, and project managers who are currently implementing or planning to adopt Agile methodologies.

In this two-day Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) workshop, participants simulate a large-scale software development project using the Nexus™ framework. Through an end-to-end case study, students collaborate to organize and simulate a scaled software development initiative. Throughout the workshop, participants are introduced to over 50 practices designed to reduce complexity and dependencies at scale. The workshop equips students with the knowledge to launch, structure, staff, and manage a large Agile project using Scrum. Participants learn the infrastructure, tools, and practices necessary to successfully scale Scrum and maximize the value of their software development efforts. By taking a hands-on approach, students are fully engaged in the learning process, experiencing firsthand the challenges of large-scale development initiatives and exploring solutions to get the work back on track. They leave the workshop with techniques to detect irregularities and know how to address them appropriately. This course is designed as an experiential workshop where students learn how to scale Scrum using the Nexus™ framework. Throughout the course, participants are introduced to the artifacts and events within the framework, the new Nexus Integration Team role, along with more than 50 associated practices.

The industry-recognized SPS certification requires a minimum passing score of 85% and involves understanding of the Nexus Framework, knowledge from the course and of Scrum.
