Session 1 (4 hours)
Module 1 – Utilizing AIS for Functional Purposes in R/3 (2 hours)
- An overview of R/3 processes and data tables pertinent to audits.
- Capturing functional evidence using standard SAP GUI transactions.
Module 2 – Process-Focused Access Management (2 hours)
- Designing roles and managing access via PFCG and SU01.
- Using SU53 and SUIM for quick issue diagnosis.
- Constructing RACI matrices by process and addressing 'pragmatic' SoD.
Session 2 (4 hours)
Module 3 – FI/CO with a Control Focus (2 hours)
- Configuring OB52, tolerances, and accounting authorizations.
- Approving journal entries and generating evidence via classic workflow.
- Tracking changes in accounting masters and bank accounts.
Module 4 – MM/SD with a Control Focus (2 hours)
- MM: Implementing purchase release strategies, managing price changes, and conditions.
- SD: Enforcing credit limits, pricing rules, and discount conditions.
- Gathering evidence through change documents, logs, and reports.
Session 3 (4 hours)
Module 5 – Logs and Operational Evidence (3 hours)
- Using SM20 to determine what, who, and when in functional contexts.
- SCU3: Monitoring changes in master data (vendors, customers, materials, conditions).
- STAD/ST03N: Analyzing transaction execution patterns.
- Exporting data (ALV/CSV/PDF) and organizing supporting annexes.
Module 6 – Quality and Testing (1 hour)
- Designing test cases with clear acceptance criteria and minimal evidence requirements.
Session 4 (4 hours)
Module 7 – Applied Process Laboratory (3 hours)
- Mini-project: Executing purchase and sales cycles including exception scenarios.
- Collecting evidence and assembling a complete dossier.
Module 8 – Wrap-up and Operational Transition (1 hour)
- Reviewing operational checklists and periodic control schedules.
- Discussing best practices for audits and regulatory adherence.
Deliverables:
- Templates for test cases and RACI/SoD matrices.
