Process mining, also known as Automated Business Process Discovery (ABPD), is a methodology that leverages algorithms to analyze event logs, offering insights into business processes. It transcends mere data storage and analysis by connecting data with processes, revealing trends and patterns that influence process efficiency.

Format of the Course

• The course begins with an introduction to the most widely used process mining techniques. We explore various process discovery algorithms and tools designed to model processes using raw event data. Real-world case studies are examined, and datasets are analyzed using the ProM open-source framework.
