- Presenting a pre-drafted topic relevant to the participant's professional context.
Note: The length of each individual presentation is determined by the overall course duration and the number of attendees. A cohort of eight is recommended
- Comprehensive individual and group feedback
Designing the Presentation
- Key questions for presenters to address beforehand
- Why am I the right speaker?
- Operational details: content, venue, timing, method – and duration
- How these answers shape the presentation's architecture
- Organizing the material:
- Research – mastering the subject matter
- Sequencing the narrative logically
- Developing and integrating supporting visual elements
Preparing the Presenter
- The presenter's three core communication channels:
- Verbal – word choice, avoiding casual slang or excessive jargon
- Vocal – tone and sound, minimizing distracting filler words or unnatural pauses
- Visual – physical presence, attire, and body language
- Practicing the delivery – and seeking candid feedback from a reliable source
- Managing stage fright
Setting the Environment
- Room arrangement – and the implicit messages it conveys to the audience
- Leveraging the space to enhance the presentation experience
Refining Presentation Skills
- Delivering a second presentation (following adequate preparation time).
