Day 1

Settling Down and Preparation Formalities

Material preparation, participant settling in, and refreshments

Module 1: My Confidence, My Stage

Understanding the importance of self-confidence in successful public speaking delivery and personal expression

Activity 1: I am Me

Participants will take the stage to share information about themselves, helping to build confidence and self-esteem.

Module 2: The Power of Influence and Persuasion – How to Capture Attention

Discussion on the importance of implying and delivering ideas that aim to influence, inspire, and capture attention.

Activity 2: The Blind Guide

Three participants from each group will attempt to build a tower using Lego or building blocks with alternating colors. Two participants will be blindfolded, while one serves as the captain without a blindfold. The captain will lead the two blindfolded members using voice instructions. One blindfolded participant will construct the tower, while the other relays the instructions.

Synthesis Session

Summary and discussion on the importance of the previous session

Module 3: Public Speaking and Its Structure

Discussion on the structure of public speaking, preparation techniques, and key considerations for delivery.

Activity 3: My Crazy Story

Participant groups will create a story based on a single source topic

Module 4: Construction and Delivery of the Speech

Focus on methods for constructing speech content, identifying effective delivery strategies, and preparing for personal presentation.

Final Synthesis and Assignment Delivery

Participants will be assigned one of the following topics for discussion, lasting a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes.

Day 2

Activity 1: Delivery of Identified Topics through Public Presentation

Module 5: Merging Public Speaking and the Internet Superhighway
