Requirements

This is a practitioner-level course. Candidates must meet at least one of the following agile knowledge prerequisites: iSQI® Certified Agile Essentials (CAE), iSQI® Certified Scrum Master Pro, ISTQB® Foundation Level Agile Tester, or have two years of professional experience working in Agile environments. Given the course's focus on practical, experiential learning, it assumes a baseline of knowledge. Failure to meet these prerequisites may hinder a candidate's ability to complete the course and assessments within the allocated time. Participants are expected to already possess the ability to apply basic practices and techniques, such as:

  • Knowledge of Test Design methods – Equivalence Partitioning (EP) / Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) / State Transition / Decision tables / Exploratory testing
  • Fundamental test terminology
  • Understanding the distinction between functional and non-functional testing, including core concepts of Performance and Usability testing
  • Competence in performing all activities associated with the fundamental test process
